Unexpected Place to Get American Chinese Food
Just around the corner from exit 13 at Banwoldang Station is The Doshirak. At first glance, you would think this place only serves Korean food, but take a closer look and you'll see a variety of familiar options.

These options include Mongolian chicken, Kung Pao chicken, orange chicken, and General Tso chicken. The latter is just labeled as "General chicken" in Korean.
These offerings are a long shot from what is familiar, but it's interesting to try if you're missing Chinese American food. Each dish cost anywhere between 4,000-5,000w and it is significantly cheaper than Shanghai Grill.
The pictures on the menu are misleading as the dishes are shown to include more veggies like baby corn, but are not included in what you actually get.
After having devoured a few of these, everything tastes a bit similar. The fact that these dishes look similar doesn't help either. The orange chicken does taste a bit sweet and the Kung Pao does taste a bit spicy. Extras such as banchan are 600w, but just the dish itself is filling.
The Doshirak is worth trying considering it's central location. Give it a shot. Sadly, their website is not working at the moment.
To get there, take the escalators at exit 13 at Banwoldang Station. Walk straight and veer right with the road. The Doshirak is about 10 meters away. You can't miss it.
