[Tour]2013 Daegu Biseulsan Azalea Cultural Festival!!



Spring has come every inch of this city.
The light is gleaming through the trees and the warm breeze may makes your hair ruffling softly. There's no doubt it's time to leave somewhere to enjoy this beautiful weather:)

I would like to introduce one festival, Biseulsan Azalea Cultural festival, in Biseul mountain situated near Daegu. This festival is well known as azalea flower in full bloom all over the mountain around this month.

  • Place: Biseulsan recreational forests

★ How to get to Biseulsan Azalea Cultural Festival?

From Daegu: Take bus number 600 or Dalsung 5 heading to Hyeonpung
From Daegu national science museum: Take free shuttle but from here to Biseulsan parking lot (every 20 minutes)







The way of Azaleas covered the entire mountain in pink is absolutely magnificent view. Here, visitors can enjoy an excellent view of the beautifull mountain and flower. The scene from the top of mountain is one of breathtaking beauty.








The festival offers many activities you can experience such as making pottery, Korean paper, folding fan etc. Not only this activities, there will be small markets for traditional food and tea and also varieties of concert.

There are some gallery and exhibit hall so that people walk around and get more information. Visitors will be able to enjoy these festival with their families, friends and couples with fun-filled programs.

    1. Hello Annie~ There's no entrance fee for this festival. It is a mountain so you just need to hike about 1~2 hours to see bunch of azalea ;) Please take the bus number 600 or Dalsung 5 which are heading to Hyeonpung to get Biseulsan!
