At the corner of Rodeo Street in Dongseong-ro, there is a small and humble Japanese restaurant. To our surprise, however, there is an enormous queue outside of the restaurant during lunch and dinner time. If you pass by the restaurant, you probably are curious about the secret of making people queue.
Can't wait to know which one I am talking about? It's about Miyako Udon, which is famous for cold Udon, Dontoru Donburi(a bowl of rice topped with beef) and Doncotsu Ramen(Japanese noodle with pork gravy).
Being ready to wait quite some time outside, you deserve to have a delicious bowl of Udon or something else they offer. The wonderful food will reward for your long wait outside.
The Japanese owner and chef had managed this restaurant for over 30 years when his son inherited it. If you want to try not a fusion cooking but a traditional Japanese one in Daegu, there's no better place than this 'Miyako Udon'.
