Sometimes no matter how much you love Korean food you can crave the flavors of home or just something a little different. In the well-known and well established Mexican restaurant Dos Taco’s you can do just that.
This Daegu institution has been feeding customers for over two years, which is a long time by Daegu standards. On the menu you can find all your favorite Mexican dishes such as Chimichangas, Burritos, refried beans and nachos. There is even a few frozen Margaritas to choose from.
There is many vegetarian options as well as a choice of meats that range from beef, pork, chicken or shrimp. If you are a fan of spice then you can ask for the food to come extra hot. If, like me, you prefer a less spicy meal then the staff will be happy to point you in the right direction.
A dishes range in price making it a good spot for a quick lunch or a meal with friends. A Burrito with a re-fillable drink will set you back about 10,000\. The people working here are friendly and attentive. The food arrives fast and packed full of fresh and tasty ingredients.
To get to the restaurant you will need to leave Jungangno station from exit 2. Turn back on yourself and walk towards the main road. Turn right down this road and keep walking. You should pass Mister Doughnut and the ‘Dough’ Bakery. You will come to a junction with a KFC on the corner. Turn right down this street. Walk past the cinema and turn right again. Dos Tacos will be on your left.
