[Beautiful daegu] Apsan Park Trails

Apsan Park Trails

Hiking the mountains in the Daegu area is a great way to enjoy nature and get some time away from the city.  Over the next several months I plan to introduce several trails in Daegu Metropolitan City Apsan Park, as well as other area hiking locations.  Today I want to share some general information on the Apsan Park trails.  Because Apsan is a large metropolitan park there are several locations that you can access the trails and facilities in the park.  The park has areas that are in three different districts in Daegu.

This past winter and spring there was a lot of work completed on several of the trails all through the park.  These improvements have made all the trails more accessible and easier to traverse.  Here are some photos of the work being done.

I would also like to point out that several of the facilities in the park have either been upgraded or completely refurbished from the inside out.  The park is constantly being improved and I look forward to sharing those improvements as they happen.

Now that it is much nicer to hike the improved trails, let us take a look at some of the sights that can be seen while hiking and from the mountain tops or other vantage points.

It is important to clean up after ourselves.  Please remember to bring along bags to pick up your trash.  I have always believed in taking more trash out of the park than I brought in. Be kind, don’t leave trash behind!

Have fun hiking, be safe and bring extra water.
Here is a link to the Colorful Daegu Bus information site.  There is public parking at many of the entrances but during the weekends and on holidays the parks really do get a lot of visitors.
