Looking 400 years into the past

Looking 400 years into the past

Starting this month until October (Not July and August), every Saturday from 1 pm to 4 pm, there is going to be a simulated village in the Gyeongsang Gamyeong Park (경상감영공원). You will go back in time and experience what it was like 400 years ago in Korea. There are many cool Festive things to try. Amazing Traditional dance performances, Old fashioned martial arts, singing, games and a lot more.

You will hear old Korean bells ringing  time, and they will give you traditional clothing to wear so you can have to fully emerged experience, and take some great pictures. Also periodically there will be traditional ceremonies that will be held and that is always a very memorable experience.

Every year there are thousands of people who come by to experience this and because of that they have stepped up their game this time and make it better then ever, so don't miss out.

Key Moments

13:00 to 13:40 Performances
14:20 to 15:00 Traditioanl Korean games
15:20 to 15:50 Traditional martial arts Demonstration.

There are many more things that are going on but these are just some of the things I thought were the key moments.

Here are the directions to get there.

It is quite easy to find, just copy paste 경상감영공원 into your google maps or just follow the map here and you will be able to find it. Hope to see you there.

  1. Min Hee and her family will be checking this out very soon!

  2. Is it really the life of a village? Or is it excerpts from the life of the wealthy few?

    1. Which ever it is, I will be there to see it this summer.
