The Pet Shop is not just for dogs; they sell many products for cats and small mammals, too. Some of the products on offer are beds, cages, and crates of all sizes; high-quality food and treats; clothing; toys and cat trees; grooming supplies; leashes for cats and dogs of all sizes; and strollers. One of the best features of the place is that at this writing, it does not sell pets; thus, it's not supporting puppy mills.
The outdoor play area is large and secure, with some grassy areas, a pool, shaded areas for resting, and plenty of free water on tap for thirsty pooches. A purchase in the shop or at the cafe will grant free entry into the play area for as long as you wish. An air-conditioned indoor area has large windows facing the outdoor playground, and seating for those who want to cool their heels with a beverage and watch the dogs play. Beverage choices at the cafe are non-alcoholic, and include hot and iced coffees, teas, ades, smoothies, and sweet snacks that range in price from 2.000-7.000 KW.
Finding The Pet Shop is easy. From the subway, take Line 2 (Green line) to Bangogae Station. Go out Exit 3, and walk to the intersection (Keunjanggil and Dalgubeoldaero). Cross the street, turn right, and walk down Keunjanggil for about 5-6 minutes. Make a soft left when you reach the next busy intersection (Myeongseoro/Naedang Intersection). The Pet Shop will be on your left. There is limited fee parking out front.
