Adventure in Deagu - Eco Adventure Park, HillCrest!

HillCrest is an eco adventure park just outside the city center, and is the only one of its kind in Deagu. It’s a large environmentally friendly, educational and recreational park with a large herb garden, a green tea field, a family zoo, a mini theme park and the adventure center itself.
There are an abundance of services and facilities on offer for families and you will find many locals and visitors to Deagu taking advantage of the scenic and serene park at the weekend.

There are crafts, culture classes and educational tours on the various wildlife and marine life they have at the park. One can avail of these intriguing lessons with their children, before going on one of the adventure rides, or perhaps relaxing beside the valley and water installation. Surrounded by tall green trees it’s like stepping into a jungle. There are also stunning gardens to have a romantic stroll through, and enjoy the majestic landscapes around you.
For those that are interested in more of an adrenaline rush, the park offers a variety of obstacle courses for adults and children. There are many different zip lines running through the trees above the majestic gardens and valleys that make for an exciting view. You can opt for the longest zip line, or else one of the obstacle courses that combine mini zip lines with various hoops to go through, all above the park itself and through the trees.
I went for the King Kong course, which is one of three offers available with the adventure ticket you buy. You can also choose a less strenuous course, or simply the zip line itself. The King Kong course gives you a taste of everything. You have about 5 zip lines, a rock climb, and a variety of bridges to balance. In total the course should take about 40 minutes, and is well worth the money.
You may also enjoy a coffee or smoothie at one of the many cafes, or go for dinner at the pizzeria after your climb through the trees.

With the amount of activities on offer, as well as the places to simply relax and enjoy the scenery, you could easily spend the day here. With such hustle and bustle in the city everyday, it’s nice to take a break from the concrete jungle and spend some time in nature that is simply a 20 minute drive away.

Admission: adults 9,000 children 7,000 (prices for events vary)
Address: 1003, Gachang-ro, Gachang-myeon, Dalseong-gun, Deagu
