[Festival] Winter Festivals in Daegu

① A Christmas Event in 'The ARC'; A Warm Winter Story
Korea Water Resources Corporation(K-Water) is holding a Christmas event from Dec. 1 to Dec. 31 at the River Museums all over the country.
In celebration of Christmas and year-end, a performance, experiential programs and promotions are arranged to share warmth with families and neighbours around.
In 'The ARC', handicraft classes such as making Christmas cards, special pens and candles are open to the public. There are also an interesting performance for children.

② Ice Festival in Mt. Bisuel

Every winter, there is a ice festival on the huge iced hill in Mt. Bisuel.
It has been offered somewhat different pleasure and special memories to visitors since its open in 1998. Full of interesting attractions are to be found there such as ice sculptures of comic characters, ice caves, ice pillars, and even Igloos!!
The ice sculptures, in particular, are shown with different features each year catching visitors' eyes. Surly, no one can forget the exciting experiential entertainments, like ice sledding park, ice slide and ice cave that anyone can venture into.
Most of all, however, the floodlit show and LED light inbuilt in the ice sculptures are the highlights of the night!
